You Hurt My Feelings(2023)Movie Review:Boring movie

Rating:4 /10

You Hurt My Feelings(2023) ranks among the worst I’ve ever had the displeasure of witnessing in a theater. It’s dull, rigid, desiccated, and scarcely humorous. A genuine cinematic dud, this movie is an utter yawn-fest, rehashing every tiresome cliché imaginable.

The plot revolves around an author who is hurt by her husband, a therapist, upon discovering that he dislikes her new book. Frankly, the story is filled with superfluous fluff and offers little in terms of substance, meandering between monotonous scenes and protracted, wearisome conversations among friends. The film’s soundtrack is downright abominable, reminiscent of hushed funeral music. Despite being set in an upscale New York during the summer, viewers are deprived of experiencing the location’s inherent delight.

The film’s most glaring issue is its lack of relatability for the majority of the audience. If you’re willing to shell out money for 90 minutes of fluff, this movie might be right up your alley. If you’re keen on observing a disjointed snippet of someone’s life devoid of narrative coherence, by all means, give it a go. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and opt for a different cinematic experience.
