The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster (2023) review:this movie was fantastic!

This movie was fantastic! To be honest, I didn’t have high expectations when I went to the screening, but boy was I pleasantly surprised! The film struck the perfect balance, not too much or too little, and the acting was incredibly believable. It touched on black themes, circumstances, and stereotypes without being overly political.

The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster (2023) is easily one of the best horror movies I’ve seen this year. The suspense throughout the film was absolutely gripping. While the title and gory horror might initially attract viewers, I believe it’s the more subtle horror that will stick with them long after the credits roll.

The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster (2023) Official Trailer

It’s a powerful story about a girl who attempts to play God in a community that has lost all hope. Some viewers may struggle to grasp the tone of the story due to the sensitive subject matter, but if you’re a fan of horror in any form, family dramas, stories about gifted individuals, or the impact of police brutality and drug use on communities, this is a must-see.
